Mr. Spiro is Managing Director of Meacham Woodfield, LLC
Gregg Spiro has over 18 years experience as an operator and professional investor engaged in financial operations, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.  He has worked in a number of industries including the financial sector, IT services, healthcare, distribution, early childhood education and business process outsourcing.

Most recently, Gregg was the CFO for Health Dialog Services, Inc. where he also guided the transaction with Rite Aid.

From 2008 to 2010, he was a Managing Director at Aequitas Capital Management where his responsibilities include managing the equity portfolio and providing financial support and services to the portfolio companies, including acting as the interim CFO to two portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Aequitas Capital, Mr. Spiro was a founding partner at Causeway Capital Partners. In addition to doing “fundless sponsor” deals, Causeway provided services to Health Dialog Services Corporation where Mr. Spiro had served as a Vice President from 2004 until 2008.

Mr. Spiro was part of the team that worked on the transaction to sell Health Dialog to BUPA in 2008, a transaction that achieved a 39X EBITDA value. Subsequent to that sale, he was responsible for managing Health Dialog IT finance overseeing a budget of over $50 million.

From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Spiro was at Washington & Congress and its predecessor firm (collectively “W&C”), a private equity firm that managed approximately $1.6 billion in committed capital.  While at W&C, Mr. Spiro was active in monitoring the portfolio companies and worked extensively with the CEOs and CFOs of such companies creating budgets, managing cash flows and supervising bank relationships, constructing and updating financial models, and preparing and making investor and bank presentations.

From 1993 to 1999, Mr. Spiro was president of Conceptions Un Ltd., a national magazine and periodical distribution company that distributed product to over 30,000 retail outlets in the United States and Canada.  The company was sold to Primedia, a portfolio company of KKR and the largest special interest magazine company in the United States, in 1999.  In addition to serving on the board of Conceptions Un Ltd., Mr. Spiro also served on the boards of Uniscribe Professional Services, Inc. and Certus Corporation and Syncronex, Inc.

Mr. Spiro received a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Vermont, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
