  • HEALTHCARE SERVICES COMPANY
    • Principals of Meacham Woodfield led the sale of a leading healthcare services company to an international insurer for a multiple of 39x trailing EBITDA. Mr. Fawcett had been an original shareholder of this firm and a charter member of its board. Prior to executing the sale of the company, Mr. Fawcett had headed the business development efforts of the firm during which time revenues increased by 40%. Ms. Foreman had been the Chief Information Officer of this company and had led the development of a web-based technology platform with rules-based services and advanced security to allow clinical analytics and services for over 29,000,000 lives.
  • HEALTH CARE COST REIMBURSEMENT SERVICES PROVIDER
    • Principals of Meacham Woodfield led the restructuring, recapitalization, repositioning and liquidation on behalf of the private equity sponsor of this provider of cost reimbursement services to hospitals. The work included management realignment and recruitment of new team members, creditor management, capital access solutions, move to positive cash flow and sale of various elements of the business
  • MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND DISPOSABLES MANUFACTURER
    • Principals of Meacham Woodfield sourced and led a leveraged management buyout of this leading manufacturer of specialized medical devices and disposables. The work included creation and implementation of capital access solutions (including both equity and debt funding sources), formation of the MBO investment syndicate, leading all negotiations for acquisition from corporate owner. Post buyout activities included structuring an initial public offering and listing on NYSE.

  • INTERNATIONAL BOTTLING AND DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS
    • Principals of Meacham Woodfield have sourced, negotiated and consummated the acquisition of large soft drink bottling and distribution operations both domestic and foreign. Among the activities in these assignments were the formation of an investment syndicate, creating and implementing the capital access strategy required to acquire these assets and provide sufficient working capital to assure successful re-launch in key markets. As part of the growth strategy, the principals identified roll up targets and negotiated with the owners for their acquisition. Post closing activities included leadership in structuring an initial public offering and listing on NYSE. Ultimately, the assets were sold off separately to various new investors.
  • INTERNATIONAL TOBACCO, FOOD AND BEER MANUFACTURER
    • One of the principals of Meacham Woodfield, while acting as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, led world-wide C-level business and IT life-cycle initiatives for this consumer products manufacturer and marketer.  These initiatives included the development and implementation of organization changes, IT strategies, operations consolitation, security and business reengineering across multiple geographies; and for major business acquisitions. Hands-on experience in manufacturing, logistics, marketing, sales, finance and human resources systems development.  The introduction of standardization and a shared services delivery model demonstrated significant savings and IT performance efficiencies to the businesses.
  • IT SERVICES PROVIDER
    • Principals of Meacham Woodfield led a restructuring and repositioning of this provider of Microsoft IT services to healthcare and other clients on behalf of the private equity sponsor. The work included management realignment and recruitment of a new senior management team, trade creditor management plan, institutional debt restructuring and recapitalization with secured parties followed by consolidation via merger with another IT provider, increasing sales and a move to positive cash flow.During this engagement, principals of Meacham Woodfield also held the roles of Chairman, CEO and CIO with full operational responsibility for financial performance and new business development.  Ms. Foreman was a guest speaker and systems expert in the healthcare industry on topics of healthcare reform,  services development and technology strategy.

    • Principals of Meacham Woodfield led the complete financial and operational restructuring of a family owned manufacturer. The work included creation and implementation of a trade creditor management and restructuring plan, renegotiation of bank debt and ultimate sale to a multinational acquirer seeking to consolidate manufacturers in this business segment.
  • BUSINESS PROCESS OUTSOURCING ENTERPRISE
    • Principals of Meacham Woodfield, on behalf of the private equity sponsor,  designed and led a comprehensive recapitalization and restructuring of this provider of document management services to law firms and other professional service firms.  The work included organization change and management recruiting, creditor management plan, a complete capital access solution including new funding and total recapitalization of the balance sheet, new marketing plans, customer additions, increase in revenues, and move to positive cash flow. The work also included an IT overhaul, significant cost reductions and preparation of the company for sale.
  • FOR PROFIT EDUCATION COMPANY
    • Principals of Meacham Woodfield, on behalf of the private equity sponsor, led the financial and operational restructuring of this national operator of charter schools. The work included organization change and recruiting of new team members, creditor management and negotiation and design and implementation of a new capital access solution supporting the company’s move to positive cash flow and growth.
